The property is nestled in one of the most beautiful green settings in the Lille Metropolis, La Montagne de Wervicq, where textile industrialists built villas surrounded by large wooded gardens.
This place has become a wealthy neighborhood, a true haven of peace, and is located just 15 km from Lille, 18 km from Ypres and Kortrijk. It is well known to cyclists who experience one of the only "heights" in the flat country to reach ...60 meters of altitude!

The banks of the Lys, a river forming the border between Wervicq and its Belgian twin Wervik, are today a place for walks and their layout allows for beautiful cycling trips to Kortrijk, or even to Ghent to join the Scheldt.

In the heart of the Mountain, the largest villa, the Dalle-Dumont castle, now municipal property, is the venue for cultural events: exhibitions, festivals and private receptions. Its twelve-hectare park welcomes Sunday walkers who can also visit the eco-museum of small farm trades.

And if our Mountain does not satisfy your desire for winter sports, the neighboring town of Comines, in its Belgian part, offers the possibility of skiing at the Ice Mountain adventure park.
